This year’s hottest celebrity toy that can go off-roading can only be the G63 AMG. This monster sports some cosmetic touches and a new lump of power under the bonnet, the 5.5-liter twin-turbo V8 used by the rest of the AMG family.
Adding twin turbos to the G55’s engine has resulted in a lot more power and torque, but that wasn’t enough for some people, and Brabus now comes to the rescue with their own package.
Their engineers found that the 544 hp stock output wasn’t enough to provide wow-factor, so they boosted the 5.5-liter V8 all the way to 620 hp. In addition, torque has been increased by 40 Nm (29 lb-ft) to 800 Nm (590 lb-ft).
To ensure muscles bulge externally, not just under the bonnet, the G63 gets 23-inch twin-spoke black alloy wheels and yellow calipers. Goodies also include ride control and an exhaust with butterfly valves.
