Pope Francis Chooses KIA Soul for South Korea Visit [Video]

Pope Francis has been referred to as “The People’s Pope” due to his viewpoints as well as his "LessStravagant"  lifestyle. Take his recent trip to South Korea, for example. During his first papal visit to Asia and the first pope to visit South Korea in 25 years, he chose to ride in the back of a Kia Soul.

While those before him would be chauffeured in lavish, custom-built vehicles like bomb-resistant and bulletproof Mercedes-Benz SUVs, Pope Francis got in the back seat of one of Kia’s smallest and most popular current models, although it isn’t clear if any modifications were made to the car for added protection. What’s more, these recent pontiffs rode around in bright white vehicles, but this Kia Soul looked about as ordinary as this hatchback can get painted up in what appears to be the Fathom Blue paint color.

And his choice of a Kia Soul was due to a lacking supply of roomier vehicles in the lineup of Kia or even Hyundai, which have both introduced more luxurious sedans Kia K900 (known as the K9 in South Korea) and the Hyundai Equus. Automotive News reports that Pope Francis often uses a 20-year-old Fiat hatchback to make official visits.


The video above from The Telegraph shows Pope Francis arriving in Seoul and greeting South Korea’s President Park Geun Hye before being whisked away in the Kia.

Yo Gotti Poses Next to All White Lamborghini and G-Wagon

Memphis rapper Mario Mims, better known by his stage name Yo Gotti, recently posted an image of two of his rides, a Mercedes-Benz G550 and a Lamborghini Aventador quoting “his and hers". So now we’re wondering whether there’s a new video on the way or it’s just the daily show off on his instagram page.

While fans have been waiting for his new album, it’s less than two months since he made a sudden and surprising announcement while taking a short interview with MTV News. He just told everybody he decided to drop a new album this year, just like that. And a couple of days ago, Gotti also told his fans when The Art of Hustle will hit the market, which is in November.

Taking this into account, seeing the guy posing next to the G-Wagon and the Aventador makes us naturally assume Yo Gotti is working on a new video. On the other hand, he did caption it "his and hers", so maybe the two rides are the family cars, even though the artist is not married.

But, these two are not the only wheels Gotti takes on the streets. He also owns a Porsche Panamera, a Porsche 911, an Oldsmobile Cutlas and, of course, a Rolls-Royce Ghost.

Kim Kardashian Butt Crashes Her Mercedes G63 AMG into a Nissan

TV personality Kim Kardashian does it again; Fortunately, it's not a major car crash but a minor one with no injuries.

Apparently, the 33 year old celebrity was involved in a car accident in Beverly Hills and managed to slightly damage her Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG.

The other driver was behind the wheel of a Nissan Sentra and appeared to have incurred more damage to his vehicle. According to the guys from TMZ, the Nissan driver was driving in the opposite direction that was indicating right, he didn’t manage to make the turn and moved on forward, thus smashing into Kim Kardashian’s all-black Mercedes-Benz.

Still, both parties managed to settle the whole thing in a very polite way, even hugging it out. Reportedly, both drivers are said to have driven to the Beverly Hills hotel and exchanged information. So,  all's well that ends well.

The paparazzi managed to take a few pictures of the damaged Nissan as well as Kim’s car. Moreover, they even talked to the driver involved in the said accident and asked some questions about what happened.

Sir Alex Ferguson’s Chevrolet Captiva Auctioned for Charity.

Received by the Scotsman as part of the Manchester United - Chevrolet sponsorship agreement, the Chevrolet Captiva was recently auctioned for charity along with a number of items related to Ferguson’s last year at the helm of the Premier League club.

While the amount of money the SUV was sold for remained undisclosed, the entire proceeds from the Sir Alex Ferguson Golf Classic event were donated to The Royal Welsh Benevolence Fund, an association that provides much needed support to serving and retired Royal Welsh Officers and Soldiers.

Apart from the Chevrolet Captiva seven-seater SUV, a one-off signed portrait of the manager and his handwritten final retirement statement were also auctioned.

Sir Alex Ferguson retired as a football manager this summer, ending a tremendous 39-year career. The Glasgow-born former player and coach managed Manchester United from 1986 to 2013, winning no less than 28 trophies with the English club.

Nicki Minaj Gets 2014 Lamborghini Aventador.

 Nicki used her Instagram account to give the world the adjacent image. This shows a 2014 Aventador Roadster, but it seems that the Italian exotic is not enough for the singer.

Nicky Minaj apparently wants the Aventador Roadster draped in pink. And it seems that this will make it the first of its kind in America. The rapper will turn to Exotic Euro Cars LA to change the color.
